Busted with bourbon

MUNICIPALITY OF PONTIAC April 10, 2017
A 63-year-old Pontiac man was arrested for driving while impaired by alcohol on April 10 in La Pêche.
MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais received a call from witnesses about a man sitting on the hood of his car and waving at passing motorists while swigging from a bottle of Jack Daniels whiskey.
When an officer arrived on scene the bourbon aficionado was no longer there.
The officer eventually caught up with the culprit, just a short distance from his house, just before 6 p.m.
The driver failed a roadside breath test and was charged with impaired driving. His license was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded.
