CHIP hosts annual barbeque

On Thursday afternoon, community radio station CHIP 101.9 FM hosted a community barbeque to give thank their listeners and introduce the new lineup of programming.

On Thursday afternoon, friends, listeners and supporters came out to celebrate local community radio station CHIP 101.9 FM.
CHIP is a bilingual station that airs a wide variety of journalism and entertainment, from the off-the-wall thrill-ride “The Gong Show”, to the hard-hitting “Pontiac Mag”, or everyone’s favourite: Mega Bingo.
Station manager François Carrier explained that this programming season he was planning to put more of an emphasis on Pontiac news.
