Curling Club hosts year-end banquet

SHAWVILLE April 28, 2018
On April 28, the Shawville Curling Club hosted it's year-end banquet for the evening leagues, bringing out over 100 people. In honour of the NHL's draft lottery, attendees were asked to sport the jerseys of their favorite hocky teams and many obliged.
Following a meal of barbeque chicken and ribs, the doling out of awards began, hosted by MC and Club President Jeff Russell who was decked out in his own Don Cherry-style blazer.
In addition to the trophies, there were several team jerseys to be raffled off, from the New England Patriots to the Edmonton Oilers.
