Gatineau Health Foundation responsible for warning tickets

Chris Lowrey
PONTIAC May 17, 2017
The recent warning tickets handed out to employees of local health centres were issued by the Gatineau Health Foundation and not the Centre intégré de santé et services sociaux (CISSSO).
The decision by CISSSO to implement paid parking as of April 1 at area health centres drew the ire of Pontiac citizens.
After implementing a moratorium on charging patients for parking, it was determined that the idea will be put on hold until an agreement can be reached between local municipalities, the MRC Pontiac and CISSSO regarding parking lot maintenance costs.
