Last Thursday, Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government unveiled its plan to legalize marijuana nation-wide on or before Canada Day 2018. The ambitious plan would lift a nearly century-old ban on the drug, making Canada the first G7 country to do so at a national level.
Regardless of which side of the debate you’re on, this is a monumental change that the rest of the world will be watching closely.
