Impaired driving: the changes to the law that will save lives

Impaired driving is the leading criminal cause of death and injury in Canada. This is completely unacceptable and why our government has taken significant steps to keep Canadians safe. Residents of Pontiac will be safer when driving on roads and highways such as Hwy. 5 and 50, and Roads 105, 148, 366 or 307.
With the holiday season upon us, it is a perfect time to share an important new initiative that is now the law. On Dec. 18, new alcohol impaired driving laws came into force across Canada.
