Low reservoir levels not out of the ordinary

Many residents on both sides of the Ottawa River have complained in the last week or so that certain holding reservoirs behind some of the dams on the river have extremely low water levels, perhaps contributing to the flooding downstream.
But according to Michael Sarich, the Senior Regulation Engineer with the Ottawa River Regulation Planning Board (ORRPB), that’s not the case.
