Police on patrol 24 hours a day, seven days a week

Local police forces have been out in full force to patrol flooded neighbourhoods where people have been evacuated. A man was arrested in Chapeau on May 11 after being spotted on an ATV in a flooded area and led police on a pursuit. He now faces multiple charges including impaired driving.

A late-night police pursuit ended on Main Street in Waltham after police spotted an ATV driving through a flood zone.
On May 11, a man on an ATV led police on a pursuit around 11:30 p.m. The man was seen in a flood zone on chemin du Traversier in Waltham and was apprehended on Main Street.
Local police forces have been on the prowl for anyone who is in a flooded area without authorization.
