Pontiac Lions hockey news

Pontiac Lions Atom A
On Dec. 15 the Lions traveled to Gatineau to face off against the Remparts. The Lions came out of the gate flying and midway through the first, Vincent Gilbert scored on a nice move, set up perfectly by Maxim Letang and Grayson Kilroy. Two short minutes later Mathis Lafontaine snapped one past the goalie for a 2-0 lead assisted by Maxim Renaud. Towards the end of the first Taytum Thompson won the face off clean back to Will O’Malley to fire it past the goaltender for a 3-0 lead.
Gatineau managed to get one back at the end of the first period. After two more periods of strong play and several great chances the game ended in a 3-1 win for the Lions.
