The Société des alcools du Québec (SAQ) recently scrapped plans to move the flags that are prominently displayed outside their stores inside.
The SAQ recently announced that it would be bringing the Quebec flags inside establishments to protect them from the elements and save money.
In 2016, the SAQ posted profits of over $1 billion.
After apparently misreading the public’s appetite for such a move, the SAQ later backtracked and decided to keep the flags out front.
