“Only one hour after Albert was born I called Myriam because it wasn’t working,” said Marie-Eve de Ladurantaye of Bryson, reaching to grab her son Albert as he took off on all fours at the monthly Allaitement Pontiac Breastfeeding meeting in Fort-Coulonge. She was referring to her first attempt at breastfeeding him.
Eleven months later, her and Albert have become masters of the art but not without much determination, patience and guidance from lactation coach Myriam Pipon.
