Bristol hosts first spring cleanup weekend

A team of volunteers spread themselves across Bristol over the weekend to help roll out what was the municipality’s first spring clean-up event.
Volunteers were set up at stations in Norway Bay, Pontiac Station, Caldwell, and at Bristol town hall, where they handed out supplies to Bristol residents who were helping to clean up the municipality’s shared community spaces.
The two-day event was organized by members of the municipality’s newly formed Community Improvement and Beautification Committee, Connie Twolan, Emily Reid, Ken Bernard, Bonnie Beveridge and Nancy Crain, and was led by councillor Greg Graham.
