New to the region, yet revitalizing an earlier edition, was Thorne’s own Christmas Craft Show and Bake Sale, offering everything from delicious homemade treats to knitting, jewellery, home décor, and much more.
Featuring 25 vendors jam-packed into the dining hall, the Thorne Community Recreation Association (TCRA) organized event brought guests out Saturday to shop a wide variety of local products.
Organizer Joyce McCleary Binder said it was an unbelievable response from vendors, as they had an amazing turnout for their first show. She explained that there had been some requests from the community that such a show come together in Thorne, and that when she set out to put it together, the number of sellers quickly snowballed.
