Police say that all indications point to the driver falling asleep at the wheel. The accident occurred around 4 p.m. and left many without power until past 11 that night.

A single vehicle crash on late Sunday afternoon left many without power, with all signs pointing to the driver falling asleep at the wheel.
Emergency services responded to an accident on Hwy. 148 in Clarendon, where a vehicle with Ontario plates was found in the ditch, with a nearby hydro pole broken.
“The investigation is ongoing, but every indication is that she fell asleep at the wheel,” said Sgt. Marc Tessier. “That could be one of the factors involved with the accident, but it’s not closed.”
