On April 27, the Thorne Community Recreation Association (TCRA) Hall in Ladysmith was packed with people eager to tuck into a hearty spaghetti supper.
TCRA kitchen manager Norma Charette explained that the organization tries to put on one dinner a month, as a way to bring the community together.
“Spaghetti is a popular one,” she said, estimating that they would be feeding at least 150 people over the course of the evening.
A team of eight volunteers were hard at work in the kitchen, keeping everything running smoothly.
