Lions Midget A take Gatineau by storm

The final seconds of the game saw lots of fists start flying near the Barons’ net. The refs were quick to pin a Baron player and Quinton McCorkell, number four, to the boards, while Ben Barr, number 27, looks on.

The Pontiac Lions Midget A team led a strong offense against the Gatineau Barons on Saturday, sliding pucks into the net like it was their day job.
Embracing teamwork, and a bit of rough-housing, the Lions wasted no time in this game, scoring their first goal less than a minute into the game.
From there, they made sure to keep the Barons at bay while they worked their magic, leading the game 4 – 0 by the third period. Letting the Gatineau team redeem themselves a bit, the final score was 5 – 2 in favour of the Lions.
