Glen Hartle Otter Lake July 15, 2023 Native Alliance Local #019 of Otter Lake hosted its Christmas in July Pig Roast on Saturday July 15 at the Raymond Johnston Community Centre in Otter Lake. A sold out affair weeks before the event, community members turned out in numbers and brought the recreation centre alive with dining and dancing to the tunes of local band Midnight Ramblers. Alliance president Marie Beaudoin was happy with the event and looks forward to their next gathering at Halloween.
Local band Midnight Ramblers kept the dance floor busy with their mix of popular favourites including a few square dances which had attendees bustling.Gérard Coulombe, Grand Chief of the Native Alliance of Quebec, and Vice President Anita Lafleur, serving dinner to the 180 guests in attendance.
