A surprise 95th birthday party was held in honour of Yvette Rodgers-Lacourse on Saturday at the Church Hall in Bryson. It was hosted by her family. Congratulations Yvette.
Our thoughts and prayers to the Russell family on the loss of Alexander on Feb. 7. He was 93.
The Bristol Carnival was held this past weekend and it was a great success as usual. Thank you to all the participants and volunteers.
The Shawville United Church hosted its Valentine’s Day Tea on Saturday. It was themed Tea and Tiaras. A great time was had by all.
