Shawville’s tea and tiaras

Shawville United Church's Unit #2 put on another popular Valentine's Tea on Saturday, filling the hall with people decked out for the occasion. Unit #2 is made up of, from left: Amy Taylor, Heather Dale, Diana Thomas, Sara Knox, Tina Keyzer, Holly Currie and Eun Kim.

On Saturday members of Shawville United Church's Unit #2 put an elegant twist on a years old tradition for their annual Valentine’s tea event.
Unit #2 member Sara Knox explained that they organize an annual get-together around Valentine's Day to bring the community together and raise money for various causes the group champions throughout the year.
