This past year and a half, has been very difficult for our small town organizations and the countless volunteers who run them. We have been unable to host any (or very few) of our fundraisers which typically is how we finance our small organizations. Not only have we been unable to fundraise, we’ve been unable to host events, meet in person, or gather in any way that used to be meaningful. However, even with the abysmal outlook that many groups may be facing, the volunteers among them are still coming up with creative ways to keep on going. We’ve seen some really interesting and creative ways for them to reach out to the members of their organization, having virtual meet and greets, outdoor gatherings, smaller groupings etc. One things for sure, no one has given up and for that we thank you.
