Luskville patriarchs had the opportunity to be treated to a breakfast out on Sunday, when a local organization put together an affordable meal, complete with all the trimmings.
The Luskville chapter of the Club Blés d’Or organized their first Father’s Day breakfast at their local community centre, seeing many families join them as they look to increase their fundraising ventures.
“This is to start raising money for our club and its initiatives for the elderly, giving back to the community as we bring people together,” said President Diane Lacasse.
Featuring a kitchen full of volunteers, serving up eggs, beans, potatoes, sausage and much more, the group also had a full plan of activities to follow the meal. Fathers and their kids would have the chance to compete in games of tug-of-war as well as arm wrestling.
