Friday night at Shawville Fair saw the popular Heavy Draft Horse Hitch Show. This display of pageantry brought gasps of appreciation as the large horses walked and trotted in synchronized grandness around the arena while pulling brightly-coloured show wagons with drivers and assistants dressed to match. McKenna Richardson of Spruce Haven Farms in Clarendon with her Charolais-Angus cross “Bandit” won the Championship Light Steer class on Friday morning.
