Our sympathy to the family and friends of Erma Sparling Hill who passed away Jan. 25 at the age of 87. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

We are having a nice spell of warmer weather and the snow is keeping away. It is nice not to have to shovel snow every second day. There are a lot of icy side roads and driveways so be careful walking.
February 2 is Groundhog Day. We are always anxious to see what Mr. Groundhog has to say about whether we will have an early spring or six more weeks of winter.
