A section of the PPJ trail outside Campbell's Bay is closed due to a large washout.
At the council of mayors meeting on May 16, it was resolved to hire a third party to assess and repair the damage.
“The problem is, there was a culvert that needed to be replaced,” explained Pontiac Warden Jane Toller. “The work was done in November and now with the thaw, everything's softened up and it's actually collapsed.”
