Shawville 150 Carnival

The first event to kick off the year-long Shawville 150 celebrations, The Fish Findlay Classic Community Winter Carnival was held in Shawville last weekend. The events kicked off with sledding, a bonfire and free hot chocolate at the Shawville RA. Pictured: Kids getting driven up the hill at the Shawville RA with their sleds.
Free hotdogs were given out outside the municipal garage in Shawville during the carnival. A ball hockey and broom ball tournament was supposed to held in the Curling Club parking lot, but the lack of teams signing up caused those to be cancelled.
