Berrigan families on the sudden passing of her sister, Sister Betty Berrigan, who passed away suddenly as a result of an accident on March 5. She was in her 67th year of religious life as a Sister of St. Joseph in Canada, Pembroke Neighbourhood. Sister was born in Timmins, Ont., a daughter of the late M. J. and Viola (Sullivan). The family farm is in Chichester, Que.
Family and friends gathered at the L’Ancienne Banque Restaurant on Saturday evening to celebrate Shannon Morris McDonald’s birthday. Her big “50” is on March 17 but her family decided to surprise her a bit early. It was a great evening with live entertainment.
Evelyn Sullivan had her sister Eleanor here visiting for the weekend. Snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cards and a birthday party were just reminders that there is never a dull moment at the Sullivan farm.
Birthday greetings go out to my sister Donna, Gilles Martin, Jason Hynes and myself on March 10, Bradley Fleury and Trudy Tallon Middlestead on March 12, Mike Walker on March 13, Donnie and Donna Gagnon’s granddaughter Paige Morin and Kempton Smith on March 16 and the March 17 list of Leo Donato, Jimmy Ryan, Patsy Carroll Marcotte, Colleen Morris Schielke, Shannon Morris McDonald, Donna Tierney and Sharon Littlejohn.
